"The Bauhaus only existed for 14 years from 1919 to 1933. However, it was the most important school of architecture, design and art in the 20th century. In Weimar, Dessau and Berlin for political reasons, forced again and again to new beginnings, it developed among the three directors Walter Gropius, Hannes Meyer and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe continually. The claim of plots to think in new and accept no traditional certainties, paved the way for artistic Dawn of Modern Art."
